In the mid-2000s, Math-U-See was implemented in a large New Mexico school district as a trial Tier 3 Response to Intervention (RtI) replacement curriculum, after a successful small pilot program showed marked improvement in students’ test scores. With a larger sample, test scores continued to improve at a favorable rate. This school district was extremely pleased with the curriculum and the results achieved. By adhering to the recommended approach provided with Math-U-See training, they were able to maximize their return.

The testing results provide strong evidence of how Math-U-See, when used according to recommended practices, is a valuable resource to encourage children who learn differently to become confident problem solvers. Math-U-See has been successfully implemented in over 300 different school districts across the United States.
