St. Louis Home Educators Expo Day 1

Click the link below to read the full post, lots of neat pictures :-)

We arrived and headed right to the Math-U-See booth

Our first visitors were Tony and his sister, whose name I forgot how to spell :-)

A family came by the booth to see their math teacher

The mom had told Steve how glad she was Math-U-See didn’t have little bunny rabbits running around, so the rabbit ears appeared :-)

The banners weren’t tall people friendly so I took a little walk around the expo to see what I could see.

I met John McClain, who with his wife Tracie, created PeaTot ”by parents, for parents”

This community was created to connect parents with each other and create a system of support to help us all to laugh through the good times and find our way through the bad.

I met the Owens over at Teach4Mastery who showed me the “Story of the LetterMaster”

Nearby I visited the Math on the Level booth and met John and Carlita Boyles

I stopped by the Family Man booth, got a sticker and talked to Ben Wilson about being the son of a homeschool speaker :-)

After that I met Melody of “Melody’s Beats” an interactive music program for home school, preschool and elementary students.

Well I made my route and found my way back to the Math-U-See booth and snapped a few pictures of Steve signing books and talking to happy kids :-)

More happy families

Kai got to meet his math teacher :-)

That’s the end of day 1 whew! :-) I’ll post more Saturday night, in the meantime catch the latest on the live blog by clicking here.
