That’s so funny! My kids will love this.
Incidentally, my 4-year-old has learned most of her “making 10″ addition facts already just by playing with the blocks. She likes to stack the shorter blocks on top of the ten blocks, and she knows that if she’s got a yellow “four” block, she needs a purple “six” block to go with it in order to make ten.

Dear Mr. Demme,
I guessed there are 200 nuber 2 blocks in the picture. Then I counted ten in length, 14 in length, and 8 high. divided each nuber by 2 because they are two bolcks. Then I multiplied 5 times 7 is 35 and 35 times 4. I can’t do that one yet so I added two 35 and got 70 and two 70 I got 140 nuber two blocks. How close is this estimate? Tim

I don’t know how close that estimate is as I didn’t count the blocks
But I’d say you got pretty close.
